Welcome to Tree Hill… aka our HOMETOWN of Wilmington, NC!
For nearly a decade (2003-2012), One Tree Hill brought us drama, romance, and iconic moments—all filmed right here in Wilmington and the surrounding areas. Featuring stars like Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, James Lafferty, Joy Lenz, Hilarie Burton, Lee Norris, Paul Johansson, Antwon Tanner, and Barbara Alyn Woods (just to name a few!), the show built a dedicated fan base that still visits our city today.
As longtime Wilmington locals—and major One Tree Hill fans—we completely understand the love for Tree Hill. In fact, our Director of Operations has been a fan for years and even babysat the daughter of Joy Lenz in 2016 at an OTH Convention (but more on that later!). Because we know just how special this show is to so many, we’re on a mission to bring you the ultimate insider’s guide to One Tree Hill locations—straight from locals who live, work, and help people find their dream homes right here in Wilmington.
If you’re visiting—welcome! Not only will we help you see all the must-visit One Tree Hill filming locations in just one day, but we’ll also show you why Wilmington is more than just a backdrop—it’s a place you might never want to leave. From incredible restaurants to gorgeous beaches and unique local shops, there’s so much to love here. 📍 Battleship Park | 191-199 USS North Carolina Rd, Wilmington, NC 28401
While the beloved River Court was taken down after the OTH finale in 2012, this spot is still a must-visit. It served as the backdrop for so many unforgettable scenes, and the views of downtown Wilmington from here are stunning!

📍 6th Street Bridge | 694 N 6th St, Wilmington, NC 28401
Yes—THE bridge! The one where we watched Lucas dribble his basketball in the opening credits of every episode. A true OTH fan moment!

📍 Tree Hill High (CFCC) | 411 N Front St, Wilmington, NC 28401
Locals know this as Cape Fear Community College, but for OTH fans, it’s Tree Hill High! The exterior was used in the show, and it still looks just as it did when we watched Lucas and the gang walk these halls.

📍 Karen’s Café | 300 N Front St, Wilmington, NC 28401
While it’s not actually a café, this building is instantly recognizable. It’s home to various businesses today, but for fans, it will always be Karen’s Café & Clothes Over Bros!

Sam’s favorite diner—and a local favorite, too! Not only is this a One Tree Hill filming location, but the sweet potato pancakes are legendary. Trust us, you’ll want to eat here!

In the show, this was the CD store! Now, it’s a fun gift shop where you can grab One Tree Hill merch and other unique finds.
📍 Blue Post Billiards | 15 S Water St, Wilmington, NC 28401
“So, what’s your take on tattoos?” This is where Lucas & Brooke had their date! Not only is it an iconic film location, but it’s also a great place for drinks, games, and hanging out. (Must be 21+ to enter.)
📍 The Naley Bench | 18 S Water St, Wilmington, NC 28401
“Don’t say I never gave you anything.” Yes, this is THAT bench! It’s still there and perfect for a photo op—so make sure to stop by! (Located at the intersection of Dock St & S Water St—you’ll see it!)
